Cultural heritage informatics specialist, author and creative, Ramona La Roche, provides consultant research services. Digital arts and cultural literacy collaborative project partners include University of South Carolina, School of Library and Information Science, Columbia, SC; Incluseum, Seattle, WA; Lowcountry Africana, Enough Pie, Gullah Society, College of Charleston and Studio PS, Charleston, South Carolina. Her publications include “A Day Trip to Georgetown”, College of Charleston Avery Research Center’s Charleston African American Visitors Guide, (2006); Gullah Connections: Crossing Over, Passing, the Links Between The Worlds; exploring Gullah & Yoruba Funerary practices, in Orisa: Yoruba God & Spiritual Identity in Africa and the Diaspora, Toyin Falola and Ann Genova, editors, (2005), and Black America Series: Georgetown County, SC (2000). La Roche recently served as consultant professional development arts trainer for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, NC. La Roche's work in Divergent Learning, earned her a graduate degree from Columbia College, SC. She completed her BFA at the School of Visual Arts, NYC.
